1. AI Biomechanics & Telemetry Accuracy
Player Pro AI analyzes both batting and bowling techniques with full multi-axis telemetry. The Free tier is calibrated for batting analysis only.
Note: Uploading a bowling video on the Free tier will yield inaccurate results because the free model is calibrated exclusively for batting kinematic joints. In Player Pro, batting evaluates 5 kinetic axes (Footwork, Balance, Transfer, Smoothness, Mechanics) and bowling evaluates 4 axes (Run-up, Seam/Spin, Mechanics, Swing) plus release pace estimation.
Our computer vision engine pinpoints the exact video timestamp of the bowler's release frame down to the millisecond, then measures the time-of-flight until pitch impact across the regulation 22-yard pitch distance.
Combined with release height and delivery angle physics, this kinematic model estimates ball release speed within ±2–3 km/h of stadium radar guns without requiring ₹20,000+ specialized hardware.
Sports biomechanics labs require retroreflective markers, synchronized multi-camera setups, and multi-lakh rupee equipment. CrickTrackAI utilizes markerless pose estimation neural networks trained on tens of thousands of elite cricket deliveries.
The AI tracks 33 anatomical landmark points to measure front-knee angles, lateral trunk flexion, and head alignment with high precision directly from standard mobile phone footage.
Yes. In Player Pro, the bowling pipeline differentiates between fast bowling and spin variations (off-spin, leg-spin, left-arm orthodox).
For spinners, the model tracks pivot mechanics over the front knee, torso rotation, arm drop, wrist presentation, and seam/rotation consistency.
CrickTrackAI focuses strictly on verified biomechanics that the batsman controls rather than speculative ball calculations.
In batting, what determines consistency and power is kinetic chain execution: Footwork & Base, Head Stillness & Balance, Weight Transfer, Smoothness, and Mechanics. We provide actionable technique scores rather than synthetic ball estimates.
CrickTrackAI is the leading Cricket AI app on Android, delivering markerless biomechanical motion analysis for batting and bowling.
Powered by computer vision trained on thousands of deliveries, CrickTrackAI tracks 33 anatomical joints to assess 5 batting axes (Footwork, Balance, Transfer, Smoothness, Mechanics) and 4 bowling axes (Run-up, Seam/Spin, Mechanics, Swing) with release speed estimation in km/h.
Yes. CrickTrackAI measures bowling release pace in km/h using smartphone computer vision without requiring external radar guns or smart balls.
The AI identifies the exact millisecond of the ball release frame and calculates flight time to pitch impact across the regulation 22-yard pitch, estimating speed within ±2–3 km/h of professional radar guns when recorded at 60 fps.
2. Real-World Net Practice & Filming Guidelines
Player Pro includes Background Net Tolerance: as long as the target bowler or batsman is clearly the primary athlete performing the delivery stride or stroke, teammates and net dividers can be in the background.
No expensive tripod or high-end smartphone is mandatory. Any standard Android smartphone capable of recording 1080p video works.
60 fps is strongly recommended for cricket action. You can use 30 fps, but because the AI analyzes movement frame-by-frame, 30 fps produces more motion blur during fast delivery releases and impact moments, which can affect telemetry precision.
You can mount your phone on a budget ₹300 tripod, lean it against your kitbag, or have a teammate hold it steady at waist height.
• Side-on: Perpendicular to the pitch, aligned with the crease at waist height (3–5m away).
• Straight-on: Straight from the bowling crease or bowling-side umpire POV.
• 45° Offset: From bowling crease or behind stumps (2–3m away).
• Short Cover POV: 45° from the off-side facing the bowler.
• Note: Any angle where the bowler's action is clearly visible will work!
The built-in in-app video trimmer is currently in progress and will be rolled out in an upcoming release.
In the meantime, you can quickly trim your delivery to the 5–10 second action window using your smartphone's native gallery editor before selecting and uploading the video inside CrickTrackAI.
It works with heavy tennis balls, light tennis balls, rubber practice balls, and regulation leather cricket balls.
Because CrickTrackAI analyzes body kinematics, joint alignment, and kinetic chain coordination, your technique evaluation remains 100% accurate regardless of ball type.
3. Injury Prevention & Biomechanical Load Alerts
In Player Pro, the bowling pipeline tracks high-strain movement patterns during the delivery stride:
- Front-Knee Collapse: Measures knee flexion upon front-foot plant.
- Lateral Trunk Flexion: Quantifies side-bend away from the bowling arm.
- Follow-Through Braking: Flags abrupt deceleration that transfers shock to the groin and lower back.
When dangerous mechanical limits are breached, the app generates a clear High Load Alert with corrective drill recommendations.
Fast bowlers land on their front foot with 8–10 times their body weight. If the front knee collapses past 35 degrees on impact, that massive ground reaction force is dumped straight into the patellar tendon and lumbar spine.
Bracing a firm, straight front leg converts run-up momentum into ball exit speed safely, preventing chronic tendonitis and meniscus tears while maximizing pace.
Lateral flexion occurs when a bowler bends their upper body sideways away from their bowling arm at release.
Excessive side-bend pinches the lumbar vertebrae, representing the #1 cause of L4/L5 lower-back stress fractures in adolescent and club fast bowlers. CrickTrackAI flags excessive trunk tilt early so you can correct your alignment before injury strikes.
Yes. The app provides a dedicated Pre-Net Warmup & Mobility Engine with cricket-specific routines for fast bowlers (rotator cuff band activation, thoracic spine mobility) and batsmen (hip flexors, dynamic footwork priming).
Completing dynamic warmups before high-intensity bowling drastically reduces soft-tissue strain and primes kinetic power.
4. Head-to-Head Rivalry & Digital Passport
Rivalry Mode allows you to pick any academy teammate or rival to initiate a Head-to-Head duel across batting or bowling.
The app generates a Tale of the Tape (drills logged, badges unlocked), a 1M Form Trajectory Curve showing score momentum, side-by-side 6-Metric split comparison bars, and an AI Scouting Report highlighting tactical advantages in your head-to-head match-up.
The Digital Cricket Passport is your verified in-app athlete profile screen. Rather than relying on subjective trial opinions where coaches watch you for just 6–12 balls, your passport consolidates your real computer vision session logs.
It displays your career stats, peak pace records (e.g. 140–145 km/h), technical ratings (e.g. 84–91 Elite Class), and total verified practice drills right on your phone screen to present to academy directors, scouts, and selectors.
Yes. In Player Pro, you can generate a professional 1-tap PDF Pro Report for any analyzed delivery.
The PDF includes your score gauge, multi-axis telemetry, "What Went Well" notes, root cause mechanical chain, load alerts, and coach pro tips—ready to share with your personal coach or parents directly through WhatsApp.
5. Academies, Coaches & Token Tank Management
Instead of forcing individual student subscriptions, academies purchase pooled student packages (25, 50, 100, or 250 students).
The academy receives a centralized Token Tank from which the Head Coach allocates monthly analysis credits to enrolled athletes. If a student is absent or injured, their unused tokens remain protected inside the academy tank.
By default, only the Academy Admin / Head Coach has authority over staff invitations, billing, and credit distribution.
However, coach roles can be modified by the Admin at any time to grant specific permissions and operational access as needed.
Yes. Coaches can generate and download the individual session PDF Pro Report for any analyzed delivery—just like a student downloads their own report.
This allows coaches to hand parents tangible, objective evidence of technique metrics, root cause mechanical fixes, and drill prescriptions for that specific practice session.
No. Standard coach accounts do not consume your student seat quota—your package capacity is dedicated 100% to registered student athletes.
Exception: A coach can enable player mode on their account if they wish to enroll for active training, in which case 1 student spot is consumed.

CrickTrackAI was founded by Rudra Balkawade and Praj Sankpal, two 21-year-old college students and software builders from Pune, India.
Rudra—an active fast bowler—conceived the platform out of first-hand frustration with conflicting coaching advice, inaccessible speed radar guns, and expensive private coaching fees (₹8,000–₹10,000/month). Partnering with co-founder Praj Sankpal on product architecture and cloud systems, they built CrickTrackAI to give every grassroots cricketer and coach an international-grade biomechanics eye right on their smartphone.
